Our nightside commentator Jim Polito was doing a bit on one of the candidate's for the Special Senate Election here in Massachusetts. The candidate happens to speak Spanish... and won't let anyone forget it! Basically he has been starting every campaign stop with him speaking in Spanish, then reitterating what he just said in English for "all of you who didn't understand that." I'm not dissing this guy, it's just what has been happening.
Well Jim... he DOESN'T speak Spanish. So for the few hours before the show he kept practicing his script. Now he did run it through with people who did speak the language, so from what I have been told he was correct. But he kept going over and over and over his script at his desk... and Leeza and I could not stop laughing!
We found this to be so hilarious that Leeza (who helps contribute to Fox Boston on Facebook) went over and recorded him without him knowing. It was hilarious! Then I took a photo of Leeza recording Jim... so it was like a "Behind the Scenes" picture of a "Behind the Scenes" video. It was great!
Love my job and my hilarious coworkers!
