So today was a good day, but mostly in the normal sense. Nothing spectacular, but there was one thing that struck a chord. Overflowing kindness.
It all began with a story we ran about a group of local mothers who just needed to unwind... with a little wine. It was a story Sara Underwood did and she did a fantastic job on it. So wonderful that the ladies she followed around for the story were so happy with the results, they brought in food for all of at here at the station. Lasagna, meatballs, ricotta cake, cookies, salad... a whole feast! Now I had ate before work so I opted out of the noms, but that sweet and sinfully amazing smelling food was just such a sweet gesture that I thought I should share it.
