Now this may not seem like an amazing, happy moment for many of you, but it was for me.
After work today, I got home and just couldn't sleep. Too much on my mind. Can't even remember now, but I did one of the most soothing things this OCD lady can do to help clear her mind...
I cleaned.
It's just something that takes me out of my head. I turn on one of my favorite shows on Netflix and just clean. I focused on picking up my room and going through all my bills. Having been sick over the past few months has increased my bill load and I unfortunately have been avoiding them hoping they might just disappear. Yeah, not so much.
Being able to sit down though and sort through the mess of my room really made me feel good though. It's a small accomplishment in a world where there are so many big weighing issues that take too much of our time and energy. Having the night to organize that part of my life was truly refreshing.
